I tried to get the kids to sit still for some pictures last October. Here's what I got. There's nothing of real portrait quality, but it's fun to see them squirm and wiggle from picture to picture. They're growing so fast, I have to capture the images I can, frame worthy or not!
I am married to my best friend, and we have two beautiful sets of twins. I am a stay-at-home mommy, with my career as an English teacher on hold for now. Life is ever changing and hectic, but I wouldn't have it any other way!
The misadventures of a suburban family living in a beautiful, rented home.
1. Two-year-old daughter swings like Tarzan from the towel bar, ripping it cleanly from the bathroom wall.
2. Discover noise putty mostly dried into the carpet in the playroom. Attempt to remove it with WD-40, vinegar, Folex, and carpet cleaner.
3. Amidst the chaos of a normal day, become suddenly aware that the smoke alarm in the kitchen is going off--while you are in the kitchen. Turn around to find a plastic children's plate on fire on the gas cook top. Discover, through a full day's interrogation, that the burner was ignited by your two-year-old, who first placed the plate on top, because she wanted to cook something.
